Activated carbon shows potential for targeted protection of native seedlings from pre-emergent herbicides. Protected native seedlings may be able to establish the first year without competition.

The ASC 2012 Fall Songbird Migration Banding Report investigates migration phenology, species composition, and habitat associations to provide a better understanding of how songbird migration in western Montana fit into a larger picture in the Northern Rocky Mountains.
