Non-Lead Shooting Demonstration
Saturday 5/18 9am - 12pm at Deer Creek Shooting Range

If you have questions about the validity of claims of negative effects of lead on wildlife, the performance of non-lead ammunition in your firearms, or the lethality of non-lead ammo, then you need to attend this event!

Hellgate Hunters and Anglers is joining up with Montana Wildlife Federation, National Wildlife Federation and Artemis Sportswomen to host a unique shooting event where you can learn firsthand the ballistics and capabilities of non-lead, copper ammo. As sportsmen it's our responsibility make an informed decision on this issue and contribute to our wildlife conservation and hunting heritage.

The main event is May 18th, from 9am to noon, at the Deer Creek shooting range to test the performance, ballistics, and capabilities of non-lead rifle and shotgun ammunition (yes, there will be ballistic gel). A $15 fee and RSVP is required to help cover expenses for the range day and is limited to 50 participants so don’t wait, sign up soon. Fee includes a non-lead hunting t-shirt from Hunt 2 Eat (see below) and an entry into a drawing for a cow elk hunt on MPG Ranch, to be drawn at the range on May 18 (must be present to win). In addition, it includes a "Living Lightly" membership to Hellgate Hunters and Anglers.
