Creating Better Habitat for Future Generations
MPG Ranch is working to create better habitat for the wildlife and the plant life that thrive on these lands for future generations.
Woven into the very fabric of the Bitterroot Valley, the MPG Ranch (MPG) is a historic ranch that encompasses nearly 15,000 acres. A conservation property, MPG strives to promote conservation through restoration, research, education, and information sharing. MPG Ranch collaborates and works closely with local conservation groups and researchers to provide educational opportunities to students of all ages.
Located south of Missoula, Montana, and set up as a biological research station, MPG is a living laboratory with hopes to restore the landscape to be as native-species rich and bio-diverse as possible.
"Ensuring minimal impact to protect the sensitive ecosystems of the landscape and wildlife habitat on the MPG Ranch is a top priority. This allows us to continue our important research and promote conservation that benefits everyone."
Philip Ramsey, MPG Ranch Manager
