Mollie Herget provides an update to her graduate research on viability of local and commercial Poa secunda seeds.

The field portion of the study, “An investigation of the impacts of seed origin on grassland restoration success” began at MPG Ranch in September.

Site preparation included glyphosate treatments to control weeds, and disking to improve the seedbed and bury weed seeds.
