We banded songbirds on the Northern Floodplain on three days in July. We captured 163 birds of 24 species.

Identifying young warblers can be a challenge due to their similar appearances and unusual molting strategy.

The differences between these two wings are subtle, but accurately aging birds at the banding station helps us learn about the dynamics of birds on the Northern Floodplain.
