Mountain mahogany, MPGN fish survey, knapweed removal, porcupine Field Note
August 12, 2022
We sent a crew to MPGN to help with an ongoing invasive fish removal project. The mission of the project is to reduce, and eventually eliminate invasive brook trout and rainbow trout from Cooney Creek.
Based on my observations, there are far fewer columbia spotted frogs now than there were ten years ago. I was delighted to see a handful of frogs while we conducted our fish surveys.
