Gus graduated from the University of Montana, Missoula, with a B.S. in wildlife biology. During and after college, he was a leader for the trail crews in Glacier National park. Gus would spend up to seventy days living in the backcountry during the summers. This hard work gave Gus a profound understanding of nature and wildlife.
Gus spent his first year with MPG working with the field crew. Gus was promoted to “the Tech.
