Katharine grew up in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago Illinois. In 2009, Katharine graduated from the University of Montana, Missoula with a B.S. in Environmental Studies, focusing in Sustainable Food and Farming. After college, Katharine moved to Vermont to work as an apprentice in the market garden at Shelburne Farms. Upon completing her apprenticeship, Katharine moved back to Montana to work at Garden City Harvest’s P.E.A.S. Farm as the caretaker.
