McKenzie is a passionate environmental advocate and adventurer with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Montana (2015). She began her career at MPG Ranch in 2017 where she assisted with the day-to-day maintenance of multiple studies and projects. Since then, she has taken over the management of our native seed production, greenhouse operations, and is now working hard to further her plant identification skills while working on field botany surveys.
Growing up in Montana, she developed a deep connection to nature and has spent years exploring and learning about the natural world—whether it's hiking through rugged terrain, cross-country skiing in winter's embrace, or working at McMurdo Station in Antarctica.
When not exploring or working in the outdoors, McKenzie enjoys reading, baking, and quilting.
