Michael began his career in conservation as a field research and restoration tech at MPG Ranch in 2018. He has embraced the opportunity to collaborate with and learn from an impressive lineup of ecologists. Michael now serves as coordinator for the Bitterroot Wildlife Internship where he enjoys teaching and connecting high school students with unique opportunities in experiential learning. He also maintains MPG’s trail camera network and oversees data management systems for video, genetics and field data. As a member of the MPG Ranch Black Bear Collar Project, his deep love and respect for wildlife has grown with a passionate focus on our black bear population. Michael also loves skiing, backpacking, hunting and sitting by a fire with friends, family and dogs.
